A while back, I decided that it was time to start investing in some hobbies. I signed up for one of Laura Hooper‘s beginner’s calligraphy workshops, and after months of waiting, I got to attend this past April. It was just as beautiful as I imagined it would be. The class was hosted by Ceremony Boston in Beacon Hill, and was decorated by mStarr Events.
Now I know how to use a pointed pen. And I didn’t spill my ink jar or break a glass, which were my two fears of the afternoon. I enjoyed her class because she took us through her alphabet, and taught us how she writes her font. It was a lovely afternoon of looking at pretty things and writing pretty letters.
