I haven’t done one of these in a while. Boston looks much different since the last time I posted. Thank you, spring time!
Doing: so much lately–from Lily’s wedding at the end of March, to Disneyland, to both Jia Min and Angelo visiting Boston, to birthday parties, to taking a calligraphy class, to Megan & Brian’s wedding in Atlanta. Phew–March and April have been very busy. I’m finally able to catch my breath for a bit. Which also means I’ll be catching up on the blogging of the things.
Reading: the New Yorker. I’m subscribed but I’m very behind, so I’m trying to catch up on those, which makes for a far more entertaining commute. It also makes me want to live in New York.
Planning: my next trip, scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend–Washington, DC, here I come.
Thinking about: when I first moved to Boston. It was 80 degrees here yesterday, and as I walked into my apartment building after work, the smell of the wood in the warm hallway reminded me of when I first arrived, since I moved in the middle of a very hot and humid summer. It was a nice reminder of when things were so new. Funny how smells trigger memories like that.
Looking forward to: a relaxing weekend–I may do a day trip somewhere on Saturday or just hang out at home, and either option is looking pretty great right now.
Loving: spring in Boston! The flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, and the people are finally happy again here in the Northeast. I didn’t believe it would happen, but winter is finally over.

I love that you also remember “weird” things like the first time you smelled your building hallway. I have tons of memories like that.
I love reading all about Boston! I head there in a couple of weeks and I can't wait. Thanks for sharing this link on my blog- I loved reading it! 🙂 xo Dani
