- Aladdin from Aladdin
He’s cunning, smart, and compassionate. And he’s my true love, after all.
- Jim Halpert from The Office
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I love Jim.
- Shang Li from Mulan
I don’t know what it is–his warrior spirit? His cartoon abs? His singing voice?
- Danny Castellano from The Mindy Project
He is such a great guy and he’s such an old man–it’s so endearing. Plus he’s a doctor, and with my aversion to all things medical, it would probably be beneficial to for me to get involved with someone who doesn’t share in my anxieties over medical situations, even if he is fictional.
- Chandler Bing from Friends
He can be kind of awkward sometimes but knows it and I love it. But he’s also smart AND funny. You gotta have the funny. Bonus points if he laughs at my jokes, but that’s for another list.
- Marshall Eriksen from How I Met Your Mother
He’s tall, ever so loyal to Lily, and the puns. I love the puns.
- Gilbert Blythe from Anne of Green Gables/Anne of Avonlea
Oh Gilbert. I love how he says “sorry” in his Canadian accent. And the way he looks at Anne. It’s more than my heart can bear. He, too, goes on to become a doctor. I’m sensing a trend here.
- Dimitri from Anastasia
And I’m not the only who thinks so.
- Cory Matthews from Boy Meets World
The boyish cute looks and his sometimes stubborn fight for love and Topanga get me always. And also, how much he loves Shawn.
- Mike Hannigan from Friends
I love Mike. He goes along with everything when Joey asks him to pretend they’re old friends, and then he goes on to meet and fall in love with Phoebe. He loves how weird she is (this is very important), and he even holds his own around her, i.e., when she changes her named to Princess Consuela Bananahammock (instead of to Phoebe Hannigan) and he insists that he too has changed his name and will now be Crap Bag. (If you need an easy way to remember it, just think of a bag of crap).
