Day Three

Today is day three of my cold. I went home early from work on Tuesday after being there for only about an hour, and then yesterday I left early to work from home. I worked from home today too, but tomorrow I think I’ll be able to go back. I think my body is trying to tell me that I’ve been doing too much lately. I hate missing things, but I guess I need to learn to say no every now and then, which I did with Greeting Ministry dinner on Tuesday and dinner and Community Group with Sarah on Wednesday.

Because I haven’t blogged in a very long time, here is what my weekly schedule has looked like.

Saturday: Hang out at home or with friends

My Saturdays are usually my free days, but even those have been pretty booked. Last weekend I was at Summer’s and we went to Disneyland on Saturday.

The Saturday before that was Crystal’s wedding.

The Saturday before that was Arianna’s baby shower and Tiff’s birthday celebration.

I was actually free the Saturday before that, and spent all day relaxing at home. The Saturday before that was Movie in the Park at Dolores Park. I went with Sarah and we watched Top Gun. Afterwards we hung out with some of her friends. The weekend before that was move-in weekend for Steph, so we spent the weekend in Santa Barbara. The Saturday before that I had a dentist appointment, and the Saturday before that, Tiff and I flew to LAX and hung out with Christine.

We then spent the rest of the weekend at Disneyland. Summer came for one day, too. Anyway, as you can see, I’ve been very busy.

We’re still waiting to hear about the apartment we applied for in the Mission. The landlord let us know that she would show it to us when it’s finished being renovated. Back when we applied (in August!) she said that renovations should be finished by the end of September. Well, here we are at the end of October and we still haven’t heard anything. It’s pretty annoying because some of the girls need to know what their housing status is going to be, but I have a nice peace about it. So we shall see.
