I Am Weird

-I don’t ever want to eat a caramel apple. While I like it’s association with fall, I have this fear that I’m going to bite into one and a tooth will get stuck in the hardened caramel and end up stuck to the apple.

-I don’t like to admit it, but I’m a pretty picky eater. I don’t like having to even touch a jar of mayonnaise. I’m a diva, I know. I’m very easily influenced, too. In the fourth grade, my teacher had us write about a food that we didn’t like, and she shared that her’s was cooked carrots. I haven’t enjoyed cooked carrots since.

-I hate having missed calls on my phone. Maybe it’s because I subconsciously hate missing calls. Who knows. But I always have to go in and delete them or else they’ll bug me. I’m working on my psychotic ways, though.

-When I was little, I hated having to put a jacket or sweater on over a long-sleeved shirt because then the sleeves of my shirt would get pushed and bunched up. Until Tia Martha taught me the “hold your shirt sleeve with your hand while you put your arm through the jacket sleeve” trick. Problem solved.

-I do not like whales. They scare me. As do rogue waves. See here, second paragraph.

-I get insulted when people say bad things about Disney things. I am a Disney freak.

-I like having even ratios of food items. When I make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, for example, I put jelly and peanut butter on both slices of toast, or else one slice is too jelly-y and the other is too peanut butter-y.

-I like to know things. I’d probably make a great stalker. But I am not a creepy person.

  1. rachel. these are just reasons that i love you so much.
    but i do have a question. Would you eat a caramel apple if it was cut? They ask you when you buy one if it will be eaten now and should they cut it into slices. I prefer the slices because I too got nervous my teeth would get stuck.

  2. Haha I'm glad you guys like that I'm weird.

    Noelle: Whoa I hadn't even thought of that. I don't know though, because there's still caramel on it. Which means there is still possible danger. Plus, I don't like caramel all that much anyway. So I'm going to stick with no caramel apples, cut or uncut. Haha.
