Temporary Insominiac

It’s a quarter after 4 and I’m still awake. For some reason I just cannot sleep. I know that I’m tired. But I’m wide awake. And have to be up in a few hours for church… that should be interesting. I have all these thoughts going through my mind, so I might as well just get them all out. Maybe then I’ll be able to sleep:

-Christine and I went on a 10-12 mile hike with Stephen on Friday. I’ll blog about it more later, but there was poison oak on the trail and now I’m paranoid that I got it because my legs are suuuuuper itchy. Hopefully it’s just my mosquito bites and river water that’s irritating them.

-I think I have to pee again but I don’t want to wake Christine up with the toilet or anything.

-I graduate in a week. Eeek.

-I have absolutely no motivation to study for finals.

-Don’t really want to get a job either.

-I want to get a ukulele and learn how to play it.

-I want to live in Santa Barbara forever.

-Super Cuca’s guacamole breakfast burrito (with potatoes) is the best thing ever.

-The oatmeal peanut butter chocolate chip cookies that Christine made are very good.

-I think the Coca-Cola I had today at dinner is what may be responsible for my temporary insomnia.

-Today (technically yesterday) was my last day at work with TPS.

-My face and arms got sunburned (sunburnt? I never know, just like dreamed or dreamt…) while working because I forgot to put sun block on. I need to stop forgetting that.

-I think one of the reasons why I’m still awake is because God’s trying to talk to me and tell me that I’m not trusting Him with my future because I’ve been especially anxious about things lately.

-I’m more excited about Hawaii than I thought I would be.

-I love Anne of Green Gables a lot a lot.

-I’m so proud of my sister for getting an A in calculus.

-I love my friends so much.

-I definitely think I receive love via quality time, and I think that’s why I like taking naps with my friends. That time right before we fall asleep is the best, because we’re cozy and quiet and just together. Talking isn’t necessary.

-The Lord’s been showing me lately how He uses miserable times for good, and I like it.

-I’m going to pee and try to sleep for the short hours I have left. Good night blog world.
